The keys to the city! Just kidding, just all the keys necessary to get into our sweet home. (See mom and dad, we’re safe!) For some reason massive keys that look like they open an ancient lock box make this place immensely greater.
We got back home late Wednesday night after a flight from Athens, where we found out that all of our belongings aren’t going to make it to us when we expected (today), but rather a few weeks. Womp, womp. Our shorts and sandals aren’t quite cutting it here, but we are figuring it out. Here’s to getting creative with meals, and finding a coffee cup, and our few belongings. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we get our groceries delivered to us?! It brings a whole new meaning to grocery shopping when it is all online. Now there is something I can get used to ;) Unfortunately I can’t seem to get use to the voltage issue. I’ve blown up two appliances already… oops.
Although we loved every minute of our adventure, we are both so excited to figure out how to make London home. Ben is off to Wales this weekend for a conference and I am going to spend it figuring out my way around this city. But first, apparently there is a Malaysia festival footsteps away from our door in Trafalgar Square and some good food is calling our name.
