This past weekend was simply perfect. The kindest friend with the biggest heart married her best friend and it was just about too much for my heart to handle. On top of that, it was a White House and Clemson reunion. My heart couldn’t take much more. Copious amounts of happy tears were shed.
I drove down on Friday morning to meet everyone for Kat’s lovely bridal luncheon. She is the most joyful and the most beautiful. Hugs all around and lots of pictures.
That evening was the rehearsal dinner with heart felt toasts and more excitement for Saturday!
Saturday could easily fulfill every little girl’s dream for their wedding day. It began with front porch sitting, music blaring, mimosa and coffee sipping, and constant giggling. The weather was perfect and the vineyard was beautiful.
I mean could her dress and colors be more perfect? The answer is no.
Like I said, a morning full of laughter and joy.
She is stunning.
Sisters.
We spent the morning with curling irons in every plug, so much hairspray, and even more makeup. Then, it was almost game time with hair pinned and dresses on.
Liz Watt, you are a beauty.
I mean, absolutely stunning.
Typical. Kate- I can not wait to do this with you at your wedding ;)
Kat, you were made to be a bride. You were absolutely stunning and truly the kindest bride. All day she was so concerned that we were all doing okay. Bless her.
They are some of the greatest humans.
These dresses were to die for.
Ever so typical, Himes.
Perfect flowers, perfect weather, perfect day.
I think he is the most handsome and the absolute best wedding date. We straight kill it on the dance floor. Thankful to have this guy on lock down as my forever wedding date.
Looking good, you two.
The sweetest of reunions. Almost two years is entirely too long. I draw the line there. But goodness I cherish these friendships with my whole heart.
Meet the Meeders!
I may or may not have teared up (wept) during their dance.
Weddings are very high up on my favorite things list, especially when they involve reunions with my dearest friends. I remind Ben of this often and have tried to convince him we should get married again and relive that day ;) Wedding days are the most joyful filled with dancing, celebration, laughter, and “I love you’s”. Being a part of someone’s day when they say, “I do,” is such an honor. Listening to those words and vows serves as the sweetest reminder of when I looked into Ben’s eyes and said I would love him forever and choose him each day. Such a promise and such a day deserves every bit of celebration.
Welcome to the club JD and Kat. I am so, so excited for you two.
Wow! What a fun time! Great captures
The bridesmaid dresses are lovely!
Heather! I loved them! She did such a great job of picking them out and it turned out so perfect!
