Yesterday was a good day. Ben didn’t have class, I had the morning off, and it wasn’t raining meaning all thins were in order to explore another park. We had our hearts set on Hyde Park so we headed over to wander around a bit. One by one we are making our way to each part and it is easily one of my favorite things to do in London. It really was a breath of fresh air and we are hoping to get a run or two in there before it he’s too cold. Apparently Ben is planning to join the open air swim club there which sounds freezing and miserable but more power to him. His victory is my victory.
I can’t say I love the birds though. They are big. They are everywhere. They are more comfortable with people than I would prefer.
I am loving this fall around here. So much so we hunted down some pumpkin (quite literally checked just about every store) to make some fall treats.
After a day of reading for Ben and nannying for me we headed over to Camden to The Stillery to see Johnny Stimson play a show and we really loved it. Great show and such a fun way to explore a little bit more of the city. Not to mention a nice little connection from back home!
If every Wednesday is like yesterday, I won’t complain one bit. Bring on more Wednesdays (with parks and live music)!
